For our esteemed Customer, a multinational company leader in its field, we are looking for the following figure:

HR MANAGER / ZURICH AREA

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive resource planning and talent management across client group addressing structure, job design, talent gaps, development plans, succession plans, retention and recruitment needs
  • Continually coach, develop and up-skill managers across the business
  • Partner with Regional Managers to implement the strategic and operational people objectives and deliver against these plans
  • Lead the people elements of any change project within the function
  • Collaborate with Recruitment and L&D to design relevant initiatives to meet business needs
  • Partner with Reward to ensure the reward strategy is relevant for the business unit and effective benchmarking takes place throughout the year to remain competitive
  • Lead projects/initiatives that continuously enhance employee engagement
  • Play an active role in coaching and mentoring the HR Advisors and Co-ordinators
  • Support annual performance review process
  • Deliver training and facilitate workshops in partnership with the L&D team
  • Review and analyse People KPIs for client group and implement actions to drive engagement and productivity

Requirements:

  • Qualified degree, preferably in HR, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Law or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international setting, preferably in retail
  • German and English fluent. Italian will be considered as plus
  • Strong ability to build trusted and credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective influencing and coaching skills
  • Swiss employment law knowledge 
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Dynamic, resilient, responsive and willing to propose solutions and influence decision making processes
  • Well organized with a methodical, detail-orientated and robust way of working
