On behalf of our esteemed client, a Fashion Premium Brand, we are recruiting the following profile:
PATTERN MAKER ENGLISH SPEAKER/ READY TO WEAR/ TICINO
Duties and Responsabilities:
- Determine the needs and coming up with appropriate design solutions
- Develope patterns for production.
- Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models
- Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products or materials with color charts, templates, or samples to verify conformance to standards
- Grade, classify, and sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications
- Stack and arrange tested products for further processing, shipping, or packaging and transport products to other work stations as necessary
- Working with the design team to create garment technical packs, experience in taking garments through the fit process, ensuring the highest quality standards are achieved in production
- Communicating with production
- Managing the critical path, production issues and knowledge of the AQL process
- Manage the manufacturing of patterns used for prototypes using CAD programs
- Participate in fittings, providing technical support and advice on product development and handling any modifications required
- Build and maintain a close relationship with the Design, Product Development teams to ensure a timely product delivery
- Continually research new ideas to improve quality and efficiency
- Produce patterns based on the sampling patterns
- Remove pattern defects and put the patterns into production
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledges and experience:
- Excellent communication skills
- English Fluent
- Hand-eye coordination,
- Ability to keep close attention to details
- Must have sufficient knowledge of shop math to make calculations for shrinkage and draft allowance to maintain dimensions, contours, profiles Walks, cleans, and completed paperwork
- Previous experience may be required
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance is required
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models is required
