On behalf of our client, in the medical field, we are looking for a:

BUSINESS CONTROLLER / LUGANO

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Controlling Team to the data analysis and performance evaluation
  • Yearly budget, updated forecast challenging the management and support the several departments on this exercise
  • Maintain an analysis-based approach to all daily activities, identifying and reporting any deviations, critical issues and risks compared to Actual vs Budget/Forecast/Plan
  • Monitor the company financial reports and determine ways to enhance the costs level
  • KPIs definition and monitoring and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, for deviations analysis
  • Control an analyse P&L figures through the analytical structure and create ad hoc report using the Financial Tools.
  • Preparation of standard documentation for the management, business support for management queries or general problem solving
  • Supervise and be able to perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Prepositive on propose controlling task update to enhance the system
  • Backup for activities and support on major projects (Budgeting and forecasting Tool evolution, BI improvements, and ERP enhancements, etc.)

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Cantonal school of commerce or Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management (Federal Diploma of Higher Education)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package (with particular attention to Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Excellent knowledge (or experience) in using Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI).
  • At least 6 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data with diligence and accuracy
  • Written and spoken English
  • Preferable experience in an event, seasonal, or project driven business environment
