On behalf of our esteemed client, a luxury company, we are recruiting the following profile in order to complement the existing team in the HQ of Milan:
BUYER / LUXURY BRAND / MILAN
Responsibilities:
- Identification of regional purchasing needs of ‘organization;
- Maintain highly developed understanding of customer through communications with retail, and CRM analysis;
- Research, select and purchase quality products and materials, working with merchandising to define needs;
- Work with VM to ensure merchandising strategies are effectively supported through in store visual display, in accordance with VM product guidelines and inventory is planned and managed according to the windows calendar;
- Processing requisitions and managing order status updates;
- Updating inventory and managing stock levels;
- Organizing transportation of goods and tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery;
- Understanding the target market and analyzing trends to make informed purchasing decisions;
- Monitoring inventory quality and reporting discrepancies to suppliers and management;
- Collaborating with Planning to build seasonal programs;
- Building EU collection structure and product flow;
- Collaboration in establishing visual guidelines , selecting key products;
The ideal candidate possesses:
- University degree with specialization in merchandising or buying
- At least 5-6 years of experience in Merchandising role
- Fluent English, other languages a plus as a must
- Capability of understanding customer trends and drive collection portfolio management;
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Availability to business travel
