On behalf of our esteemed Customer, we are recruiting the following profile

SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS DATA SPECIALIST /LUGANO

Duties and Responsabilities:

  • Collaborating with the Head of Department to define, prioritise and develop projects in regards to the collation and disbursement of date
  • Data management planning and collection, including setting deadlines, prioritising tasks and assigning various deliverables to team members (both internal and external)
  • Collaborating with team members of multiple skill sets and areas of focus (both internal and external) to ensure all elements of data management projects and deliverables (i.e. online scorecards and clinical practice guideline tables ) are in order
  • Continuously evaluating deliverables (i.e. online scorecards and clinical practice guideline tables) to ensure they are meeting quality requirements
  • Analysing project evolution, delays, risks and resource allocation
  • Drafting new data management policies and processes
  • Accurately documenting project creation, development and execution
  • Working closely with the key members of involved in the scoring process, the external specialists involved in the support of the scales i.e. Biostatisticians and Basic Scientists and the Head of Scientific Affairs
  • Work closely with the Guidelines and Publishing Department with regards to all aspects

The ideal Candidate will have the following skills, knowledges and experience:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in data management, preferably in a scientific or medical
    setting
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of data collection and management
  • Knowledge of modern technology, including both software and hardware.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational, time management and technical skills
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in group settings, and drive projects with teams
    based remotely across multiple geographic regions
  • The ability to quickly learn business processes
  • Self-motivation, a positive attitude and high-energy, with a willingness to accept varied
    assignments
  • The ability to grasp the “big picture” beyond the project lifecycle
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
  • Administrative support for complex teams/projects
