On behalf of an esteemed customer, Fashion Brand, we are recruiting the following profile, to join their team in Milan

SENIOR FABRIC/ FASHION BRAND / MILANO

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and elaboration of the seasonal collection together with the Milan team working closely with Design and Merchandising
• Constant scouting for new suppliers, visiting mills and trade fairs to ensure the competitiveness of the portfolio
• Management and collection of developments, proofs, samples, labdips based on design requirements through daily contacts with suppliers;
• Material coding on PLM
• Negotiation with fabric mills for MOQs, price lists and leadtimes
• Management of requirements calculations and pre-orders for samples, launch of samples
• Follow up with Fabric mills and Vendors to verify the progress of fabrics in the sample collection;
• Supporting QC in handling fabric quality issues, also through trips to VW raw material warehouses;
• Collection of supplier forms and all necessary certifications for the traceability and sustainability of the supply chain
• Drafting and updating fabric structures for Ready to Wear linesd quantitative KPI analisys) and through direct observation on the sales floor;

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledges and experience:

• At least 5-10 years’ of experience in similar role
• Qualification : Degree in textile engineering, technical and fashion disciplines
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Digital mindset;
• Good knowledge of English and Italian
