A prestigious international luxury brand is seeking a Wholesale Area Manager EMEA to drive sales growth and elevate wholesale distribution across the region. This is a key role within a strategic shift: while the retail business is growing, wholesale remains essential to expand presence in markets without direct retail.
Activities:
- Expand and optimize the EMEA wholesale network, focusing on top-tier department stores, luxury multibrand boutiques, and key franchise partners.
- Strengthen relationships with leading buyers (e.g. Harrods, Le Bon Marché, Selfridges, Dubai, Istanbul, Middle East).
- Ensure balanced development across menswear, womenswear, footwear and leather goods.
- Lead seasonal showroom campaigns and international market visits.
- Streamline and professionalize the wholesale network, consolidating partnerships in line with brand positioning.
Requirements:
- Solid experience (5+ years) in luxury fashion wholesale, ideally covering apparel, accessories, footwear and leather goods.
- Strong network with EMEA’s key luxury wholesale players.
- Proven track record in sales growth, strategic account management, and financial planning.
- Hands-on profile: structured, operational, and results-driven.
- Fluent in English and Italian; French or other European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively (30–35%).
