We are looking for an ICT Specialist to support and manage the local IT infrastructure at a GMP-regulated production site. The person in this role will work closely with production, quality, engineering, and corporate IT teams to ensure smooth IT operations and contribute to both local and global IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Support & Local Interface
- Provide first-line support for local IT systems and devices (servers, PCs, mobile devices, lab equipment, etc.).
- Act as the main point of contact between local departments (production, QA, engineering) and corporate IT.
- Infrastructure Management & Security
- Manage and monitor local IT infrastructure (servers, network, virtual environments) in line with corporate standards.
- Apply security updates and patches to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.
- Ensure backup processes are working correctly and regularly test data recovery.
- IT Projects & Collaboration
- Work with corporate IT to roll out new systems, updates, and digital projects.
- Coordinate local IT project activities, ensuring they meet production and regulatory needs.
- GMP Compliance & Documentation
- Collaborate with QA, QC, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure IT systems meet GMP requirements.
- Administer both GMP and non-GMP systems (e.g., lab systems).
- Prepare and maintain IT documentation required for system validation and compliance (e.g., inventories, specifications, protocols).
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar.
- IT certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA) are a plus.
- At least 8 years of IT support experience, ideally in multinational environments.
- Experience in API manufacturing is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of GMP regulations (e.g., EU Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11) is a plus.
- Strong skills in IT infrastructure: LAN/VLAN/Wi-Fi, Windows systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Cisco networking, VMware, Veeam, NAS, iPhones and peripherals.
- Excellent communication skills, in both Italian and English.
